Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy applies to direct bookings made via our website, phone, or email. OTA bookings are governed by the respective platform's policies.
Refusing to refund a cancelled service within the period stated at the time of booking may constitute an unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Our policy is designed to be transparent and consistent with your statutory rights.

1. Standard Room Bookings

Cancellation 48+ hours before check-in Full refund
Cancellation within 48 hours of check-in Charge equivalent to one night's stay
No-show One night's retention charge applies

2. Non-Refundable Rates

Certain promotional rates may be offered as non-refundable. This will be clearly communicated at the time of booking and will not be applied retroactively to confirmed bookings.

3. Event & Banquet Bookings

Timeline Refund
Cancellation more than 7 days before the event 75% refund of advance paid
Cancellation within 7 days Advance may be partially or fully forfeited depending on vendor commitments
Customised events involving third-party vendors may be subject to a separate written agreement.

4. Refund Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed via the original mode of payment:
● UPI / Bank Transfer: 7–10 business days
● Credit / Debit Card: 10–15 business days

5. GST on Cancellation Charges

If a cancellation fee applies, GST is charged on that fee as per the Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This GST amount is non-refundable.

6. Force Majeure

In cases of government-imposed restrictions, natural calamities, or events beyond reasonable control, Sasya Hotels may offer complimentary date modifications in lieu of cash refunds.

7. Booking Modifications

Date changes are subject to availability and prevailing rates at the time of modification.
